Back in May (yes, I know it's been a while since I've blogged) Aaron was feeling extra science-y and wanted to make slime with the kids. He took them to the store in search of Borax and all the other ingredients. They came home and got to work.

And Mason getting his ready too...
Add a little of this...(M)
Lots of glue...(O)
Add some color (M)
Stir...(O)
And stir...(O)
Looks pretty cool! (O)
Mason's pretty proud of his slime.
And he thinks it's pretty funny too!
Let's get slimy!
Owen's not too sure...
He looks over to Mason for affirmation that it's okay to touch...
Still not sure...
But Mason loves it!
Okay, maybe just ONE finger...
A whole hand...but it still feels weird...
Not so bad after all!
Yeah! Getting dirty!
Mason cutting it and serving it like ice cream

Kyle's Graduation
May had so many things to celebrate! Mother's Day, Owen and Mason's 4th birthday, our finding out if Owen and Mason were having a brother or a sister, and Uncle Kyle's graduation! Actually, all of this happened within a week's time...boy was that a crazy week!

4th Birthday
We were able to celebrate Owen and Mason's real birthday (5/10) in Austin with Granna, Granddaddy, Numna, Bee, and Lindsay! Of course the day was all about them, so here are some things they chose to do:
Here's Mason!
Pancakes for breakfast in the shape of their first initial!
First presents of the day from Granna and Granddaddy (M, O)
Lunch spot of choice: Fuddrucker's! (M, O) Why?...
Because of this fancy touch-screen drink machine!
Here is Granddaddy helping Mason.
And Owen gets some help too!
I told you they were really pumped about this drink machine!
Here's Owen happily drinking his!
Mason was just as excited!
Here are our favorite little ladies, Bee and Numna! They don't miss out!

A few days later they celebrated at school.
Overall we had a great day celebrating the best boys in the world! They didn't let us forget that the day was all about them! I just can't believe they are FOUR already! What!?!

Mother's Day
We had a nice Mother's Day (that kicked off the busiest week in our family's history)! I got to sleep in a little and then the kids gave me their gifts. We hit up one of my favorite lunch spots, took a nap, did a little shopping, and had some yummy Mexican food for dinner!

Thumbprint caterpillars...so cute!
A Dr. Seuss book I can read them, proudly signed by the cuties!
Mason wrote: "Happy Mother's Day" and signed his name.
Owen wrote: "We Love You!" and signed his name.

Another gift they picked out for me: a puppy board game to play together! (M, O)
And we HAD to play it immediately! (Owen)
It was all they could do to keep it a secret for 2 days!
What a treat! Owen offered to sweep his play-doh mess!
Of course, Mason couldn't be out-done!
My two awesome boys! Next year there will be THREE!

Easter...better late than never
We spent Easter in Austin with Granna, Granddaddy, Numna, and Bee. We did the typical things llike go to church, dye and hunt eggs, check out Easter bunny goodies, and eat a delicious meal! We also got some early season swimming in at the kids favorite pool - and the only pool that was open at the time!
